INTERBIKE

Las Vegas is best when taken in a short dose followed by a quick, non-stop departure.
This year it will be a big dose. There will be side effects. We will be flying to Las Vegas for the annual Interbike Convention. We are flying courtesy of one of our sponsors, Commencal USA. We will get to hang out and ride all of the new bikes for 2007. Drink a few beers and go to and see a few video premiers. We get to catch up with old friends and peruse all the new goods in pure nerdy fashion. We will try to keep you up to date of the situation while we are there but no promises. No fear but certainly some loathing.

Max, you crazy frenchman!

Max Commencal is developing a new frame for the 2008 model year. With input and advice from Cedric Gracia the new frame will be entitled the Furious. The frame is to be modeled for short travel DH and Slopestyle events. Keep your peepers peeled, you just might see old CG pedal this thing around. The hole in the top tube courtesy of Yeti?

2007 Scott Bikes

Big things coming out of Sun Valley, Idaho for 2007. I posted some of the highlights below. The CR-1 is not replaced but it is absolutely outdone by the Addict. The Spark–a new full-suspension XC race bike (ridiculously light and efficient), and a few updates to the Ransom range, as well as a Voltage that's ready to rock out of the box. Also the Contessa, a line of women-specific race rigs for on and off-road girl power.
The site is pretty good design-wise too, check out the zoomability of the bike photos:
