Matti's new Proto

Matti Lehikoinen has been getting used to his new Intense M6. The newest version of the frame that we have seen has a slightly bent downtube. The new tube is a pretty attractive addition to an already good looking race bike. Still unsure as to the benefit of the bent tube, we will see what Intense has to say. Stronger? Lighter? Both?

More pics here.
Has that rear shock been "Pushed"?

I think the bent downtube is for tire clearance. It seems that Matti wanted a steeper head angle than what's designed into the standard M6, which is fairly relaxed.

Thanks for the info, it has quite the look to it. The curved downtube is a lot more interesting than the traditional.

the shock had not been "Pushed" but rather custom tuned by CR1 which is owned by the A. Cortina, if the name does' sound familiar, is the son of the founder of Cortina Bikes.
